How to Invite People for a Grand Opening Without Sounding Like an Ad

Video transcript

A grand opening invitation tells people what is opening, where it is, and when they can come.

Choose one opening day and one time window, then send the first invitation two to three weeks before it. Give the exact day, the start time, and the end time.

Start with the name of your place, then the day, then one sentence about what visitors will see. Read your draft aloud, and if a sentence needs a breath in the middle, cut it in two.

A single page with the date, the map, and a reply button keeps the path simple. Put the link near the top of the message, not at the bottom after the details.

Name one thing that happens on the day, such as a guided tour at a fixed hour or a product demo. Put that reason in the first two lines of the invitation.

Send one reminder a few days before the event and one on the morning of opening day. Keep each reminder to two lines: the time and the link.

Prepare your grand opening invitation at Onlivita and share one link with your guests.
