Nowruz Haft-Sin Table Decoration Ideas for a Spring Party

Video transcript

The haft-sin table gives guests a visible explanation of the evening. Seven items, each with a Persian name beginning with the letter sin, sit at the center of the room.

Each of the seven haft-sin items carries a wish, and families set them out together for Nowruz. Guests often recognize the arrangement at once, even if they do not know every name.

Place the items on a low runner so each one is visible from every seat. Crowded tables hide the symbols and make photos look busy.

Build the palette around the bright sprouts and apples rather than adding more bright shades. A woven mat, a glass bowl and a wooden tray add richness without extra decoration.

When the table follows the same palette and motifs, the party feels planned and personal. Use the sprout or flame from your invitation as a small sign at the table.

Preview your invitation in the Onlivita template library and match it to your table before you share it.
