Trip Invitation Message: Samples and What to Include

Video transcript

A trip invitation message is the short note that tells your group where you are going, when you are leaving, and what you need from them.

Put the destination and dates in the first two lines, because in a long group message they are easy to miss. Then the plan stalls and someone ends up sending reminders for a week.

Name one specific day, for example 'by Friday evening.' If the deadline is buried in the middle, they wait for someone else to ask. Put it in the same message as the invitation, so answers arrive in order.

Guests open the link and see the map, the countdown to departure, and the music you picked. They confirm attendance on the same page.

Send one reminder the day before the reply date. Name only the people who have not answered, so the message stays short and private.

If you want, prepare your invitation in Onlivita and share it with one link.
