With Aegean Bougainvillea, the mood is set from the very first second — island lanes and cobalt shutters. Design-wise it belongs to the handmade scrapbook family: kraft paper, washi tape, torn edges and tilted cards, with the programme, venue and RSVP set on torn-paper cards. It is designed for wedding, engagement, anniversary and celebration invitations.
Its palette of ivory and midnight navy and red keeps the whole invitation bright and airy. Its motion identity is its own: elements that softly breathe in and out, set to a brisk, lively tempo, while falling petals fill the background. The typography mixes flowing copperplate script for the names with engraved Roman capitals.
It opens with the “Wax-sealed envelope” animation, so guests unveil the invitation themselves. Its default soundtrack is “Clair de Lune — Debussy”, and you can pick another song or upload your own.
