Sakura — animated wedding invitation template

Cherry blossoms drifting in spring

About this template

Sakura turns a single link into an animated invitation inspired by cherry blossoms drifting in spring. Design-wise it belongs to the minimal gallery family: lots of white space, hairline lines and almost no ornament, with the programme, venue and RSVP set on notched-corner cards. It is designed for wedding, engagement and baby shower invitations.

The colour palette combines blush with pink, giving the page a bright and airy look. Motion is part of the design here: details that drift slowly across the page, paced at a brisk, lively tempo. Names are set in loose brush script, paired with soft, refined capitals for the headings.

It opens with the “Wax-sealed envelope” animation, so guests unveil the invitation themselves. By default, a romantic piano piece plays softly in the background.
