Onlivita processes personal data in line with applicable data protection law, including the Turkish KVKK (Law No. 6698) and the GDPR where it applies. This page explains what we process, why, and your rights.
1. Controller
The controller is Onlivita. Contact: info@onlivita.com
2. Data we process
Account: name, email address and an irreversible hash of your password (we never store the password itself).
Invitation content: names, date, venue, programme, texts, uploaded photos and music, optional notification email and bank details you choose to show.
Guest replies (RSVP): the guest's name, attendance, party size, meal choice, message, optional email and the time consent was given.
Feedback: your message and optional email.
Technical data: short-lived IP-based request counters for security and a session cookie.
Visit statistics shown to hosts are anonymous: no IP addresses or cookies are stored; the visitor id is a hash with a salt that changes daily, so the same person cannot be linked across days. Device type and referral source (e.g. WhatsApp) are recorded.
3. Purposes and legal bases
Providing the service (creating and publishing invitations, forwarding replies) — performance of a contract.
Security and abuse prevention — legitimate interests and legal obligations.
Guest replies are collected with the guest's consent in order to pass them to the host.
4. Retention
Invitations stay online for 12 months after the event date; the guest page then closes.
When you delete an invitation or your account, its invitations, replies and uploads are permanently deleted.
Uploads not attached to any invitation are deleted automatically within 48 hours.
5. Sharing
We do not sell your data, use it for advertising or share it for AI training.
It may be shared with hosting and email providers only as needed to run the service, with appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
6. Your rights
You may request access, correction or deletion of your data, object to processing and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
You can delete your account at any time from "My account". For other requests write to info@onlivita.com.
7. Cookies
We only use essential cookies to keep you signed in and remember your language. No advertising or tracking cookies.
