About this template

Lavender Ribbon is an animated digital invitation template built around one idea: ink-blue ribbons and lavender. Design-wise it belongs to the storybook family: soft corners, ribbon headings and numbered chapters, with the programme, venue and RSVP set on round medallion cards. Recommended for wedding, engagement, anniversary and celebration invitations.

Colours: lavender and soft grey against ivory, for a bright and airy feel. Motion is part of the design here: details that drift slowly across the page and falling petals, paced at a slow, stately tempo. The typography mixes flowing copperplate script for the names with engraved Roman capitals.

Before anything else, guests see the “Wax-sealed envelope” opening. For sound, it comes with “Air on the G String — Bach” — easy to change in the editor.
