With Golden Roses, the mood is set from the very first second — navy and ochre watercolor roses. Design-wise it belongs to the letterpress stationery family: scalloped edges, debossed lettering and dotted rules, with the programme, venue and RSVP set on double-ruled cards. Recommended for wedding, engagement, anniversary and celebration invitations.
Colours: red and walnut brown against ivory, for a bright and airy feel. Motion is part of the design here: elements that softly breathe in and out and specks of golden dust, paced at a brisk, lively tempo. The typography mixes flowing copperplate script for the names with engraved Roman capitals.
It opens with the “Wax-sealed envelope” animation, so guests unveil the invitation themselves. By default, a romantic piano piece plays softly in the background.
