Onlivita processes personal data in line with applicable data protection law, including the Turkish KVKK (Law No. 6698) and the GDPR where it applies. This page explains what we process, why, and your rights.
1. Controller
The controller is Onlivita. Contact: info@onlivita.com
2. Data we process
Account: full name, email address, phone number and an irreversible hash of your password (we never store the password itself). The phone number is used only to protect your account and to prevent one person from opening several accounts; it is never shown, shared or used for marketing.
Invitation content: names, date, venue, programme, texts, uploaded photos and music, optional notification email and bank details you choose to show.
Guest replies (RSVP): the guest's name, attendance, party size, meal choice, message, optional email and the time consent was given.
Feedback: your message and optional email.
Technical data: short-lived IP-based request counters for security and a session cookie.
Visit statistics shown to hosts are anonymous: no IP addresses or cookies are stored; the visitor id is a hash with a salt that changes daily, so the same person cannot be linked across days. Device type and referral source (e.g. WhatsApp) are recorded.
3. Purposes and legal bases
Providing the service (creating and publishing invitations, forwarding replies) — performance of a contract.
Security and abuse prevention — legitimate interests and legal obligations.
Guest replies are collected with the guest's consent in order to pass them to the host.
4. Retention
Invitations stay online for 12 months after the event date; the guest page then closes.
When you delete an invitation or your account, its invitations, replies and uploads are permanently deleted.
Uploads not attached to any invitation are deleted automatically within 48 hours.
5. Sharing
We do not sell your account, invitation or guest data, use it for advertising, or share it with advertising providers or for AI training. For the ads that may be shown on the public pages of the site, see section 8.
It may be shared with hosting, email and payment (Creem) providers only as needed to run the service. When you pay, Creem processes your name, email and payment details; your card details never reach us. with appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
6. Your rights
You may request access, correction or deletion of your data, object to processing and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
You can delete your account at any time from "My account". For other requests write to info@onlivita.com.
7. Cookies
Onlivita's own cookies are essential cookies only: they keep you signed in and remember your language.
On the public pages of the site, Google's advertising service (Google AdSense) may use cookies and similar technologies; see section 8.
8. Advertising (Google AdSense)
Ads may be shown through Google AdSense on the public content pages of the site (such as the home page, templates, guide and blog). Invitations, invitation previews, the design studio, sign-in and account pages carry no ad code; your guests see your invitation without ads.
Google and its partners use cookies, device identifiers and technical data such as IP address to serve and measure ads; this may include personalised ads based on your visits to this and other websites. Google processes this data, including on servers in other countries, under its own privacy policy.
Visitors from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are asked for consent before advertising cookies are used; you can refuse, or change your choice later.
You can turn off personalised ads at adssettings.google.com. How Google uses this data is explained at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
